Causes of enlarged prostate are prostatitis (infection), prostate trauma with hemorrhage (rare), benign prostatic hypertrophy (common in older men age > 50), and prostate cancer (rare and more common in men age > 50). Only a doctor can make a proper diagnosis after examining you in person.
