TRANSMISSION OF HEPATITIS C

QUESTION
I was diagnosed with Hepatitis C seven years ago. I've gotten tested every year since then and every year it shows that I have been exposed but my liver enzymes are normal and the virus is undetectable. Can I can transmit the virus to other people since it's undetectable?

ANSWER
Likely you cannot transmit the virus if you have no detectable virus in your blood. Learn more about hepatitis.

To your health,
Dr. K
